About

About The Course

We believe bedside ECHO US is an essential and great tool to help physicians, help their patients. It is now an important part of physical examination and management.  US machines are now available in all hospitals with limited use due to lack of experienced physicians, especially after the daytime work hours when technicians are not available.

The use of ECHO and US especially in very sick patients in ICU and CCU can be lifesaving. Our multiple courses to variable levels of learners including junior residents, senior residents,  cardiology and pulmonary critical care fellows are major educational tool that I hope will help them to take care of patients in an optimal way.

We expanded our free hands-on course to the regional areas to allow multiple training programs to benefit from the course.

We also expanded the invitation to the virtual didactic course to national and international levels. Many programs in US and in other countries requested access to the live and the recorded virtual didactic video. We also created our website to keep the material available online to everyone for free to review anytime to maximize the benefit from the course.

We, as course directors enjoyed developing and improving the course, will continue working on further improvement. The great feedback we got from the learners on the first year gave us the push to improve and expand. The great feedback we get every year will help us to reach what we hope to.

We wanted to thank everyone participated in the course including the teaching force, the learners, and the standardized patients.

I hope you enjoy and benefit from the course.
